Diabetics at Pizza Hut
Pizza is neither a great meal nor the worst for diabetes. All you need is some fact check and monitoring while ordering your pizza. Diabetics can opt for thin crust or skinny pizza at Pizza Hut and avoid the cheese topping to cut down on the excess fat and sodium. If you have diabetes, then ensure to check your portion size when you order a pizza. One or max. two slices are enough. You can also avoid meat if possible and go for wings as a meat option.
Foods to Avoid at Pizza Hut for Diabetics:
You must avoid Meat Lovers Pizza with Original Pan Crust as it contains over 1000mg sodium and will add 470 calories in your meal. You should also skip Super Supreme Pizza Large Original Pan Slice which is too high in sodium and fat. Chicken wings are often tempting but you must control and restrict yourself from ordering Traditional Honey BBQ Bone-in Wings as it can add up to your sugar levels if you eat too many. On average, a person orders or consumes six chicken wings pieces in a day.
Sides must be avoided at all costs especially if it's Bacon Cheddar Fries with Ranch Dipping Cup for its high sodium content. You must also avoid New York Style Cheesecake with Applesauce as dessert as one slice of this dessert item contains 86g sugar. Pizza Hut also offers other Italian dishes such as Pasta. However, you must skip Spaghetti with Meat Sauce and Meatballs and Garlic Bread as it is too high in sodium and sugar.

Please believe the previous reviews of his restaurant post. This place has horrible customer service. I placed an order at 11:05 pm after a long day of travel. This place was recommended by my hotel. As of 12:30 am, my order still has not arrived. I called to cancel the order but the phone was sent to automatic voicemail. A delivery man finally brought the order to my hotel at 12:40, but I refused delivery. He told me that the normal delivery time is 55 mins, I told I would not be accepting the order. I will be contacting my credit card company to ensure that I am not charged for this order.

I give this place three stars in general; however, I give their all meat and all cheese calzone FIVE stars. It is so good. This place is actually pretty deliscious but the run down appearance kinda runs off some. I dont mind it. The owners are nice and very helpful. Their hours are supposed to be 11 am - 4 am, but often times they dont actually open until the first customer calls in an order. The owners live right around the corner, so it doesnt really matter as long as youre calling in.

Worse service I've EVER had- seriously. I'm staying a local hotel and I ordered a personal pie and a side of garlic bread (well above the 10$ delivery minimum) the guy on the phone tells me to order a large so that he has a "better reason to drive out there".. Seriously?? I tell him it's just for one person, and I am already above the minimum, he countinurd to hound me about it until I told him if he didn't want to take my order I'd gladly order from somewhere else. Long story short, they deliver my food which came to about 15$ (probably overcharged me but oh well) and I give the guy a 20$. He begins to walk away and I ask for change. He only has 2 DOLLARS ON HIM. That's right, a delivery guy brought 2 dollars worth of change.. I used to do delivery and I can assure you I would have been fired if I tried to pull something like that. Food was passable but not nearly worth the appalling service and terrible attitudes. Never order from this dump.

The pizza was outstanding, but I think this is a business focused more on delivery as the decor was sparse. The owners were really friendly! I'll be going back again.
(4)Naoma S.
This was awful. I ordered food to be delivered and it took them over an hour and a half to deliver it. The food arrived cold and wasn't even great. I've worked in the restaurant business before as a manager and their service and quality of food would never be tolerated. NEVER AGAIN. The manager had no excuse as to why this took so long, very disappointing. Also their pictures look amazing on the website, which most restaurants do, however, their food looked nothing like their pictures at all. It was gross. Do not go here or order here unless its the last restaurant on earth.

I thought this place would be great! It's less than 2 miles from my house, and serves a mirage of food. We ordered our food online for delivery at 12:45 pm and was given a time frame of 20-35 min for our food. I got a call at 1:45 that they didn't have what I ordered so I changed it, ensuring what would be on the new dish, a sandwich, with them. Food did not arrive to our house until 2:05 pm after I called to ask about it, and told them I had to leave for work in 10 min. They didnt comp any part of the meal, just said they were busy, and gave us a 2 liter of pop. Their cheese fries were fries with American cheese slices, the sandwich had tomatoes on it which was not mentioned when asking to specify what all was on the new item. Just a bad experience overall.

I tried this place out when I had to spend a week in OKC for work. Arriving to this city, it was my first time here and I thought OKC was a tad sketchy. Something about this city is just weird, so when I was looking to order food I figured I would not have as many choices/ find anything amazing. In this case, I hate that I was right and there is literally nothing around here that is eye catching. I found about this place from the lady at the front desk when I asked her if there are places around here that deliver. I mean I wasn't expecting a 5 star delivery place, but at the same time I figured there would be at least once place that wasn't pizza or Chinese. Looking at all the menus, I felt like I was in college again and every place that sold pizza as well sold random items that made no sense being on their menu. If someone place sells pizza, gyro, and eggrolls on the same menu chances are neither of those are going to be very good. Since it was late and this was pretty much my last resort I ordered from this place. I got the Gyro, garlic cheesy bread, and baklava. Totally random, but I figured why not. I thought the food was decent. Not totally horrible, but at the same time not the best thing in the world and totally reminded me of the place I used to order food from in college but not even that good. I mean if you are needing somewhere to get food late and deliver this place is decent, and they sell pizza which can't be that easy to mess up so it's worth a try. Didn't really do much for me personally.

The pizza was awesome best I have had in a long time. Boneless chicken was burned and sent wrong sauce, cheese bread was awesome! Delivery however took an hour and ten minutes!

I was in town for the weekend and after a very long day. I thought it would be easy to order pizza for the family. I simply order 2 pizza and wings at 8:02 and 9:45 and 3 phone calls later the cold nasty pizza arrived. After complaining each time and told that I would get a call back from manager. Here it is no call but while on the phone they offered another pizza....REALLY and wait again. .. No Thanks... wish I wld have checked yelp first...lesson learned

Not happy with our experience. We use to order from here a lot but this is our last time. Pizza took an hour to deliver. Taste was ok, typical pizza but was lukewarm. Cheese bread was really good. However, the medium size was pretty small. I'd suggest you spend a little more for a lot more pizza one mile down the road @ Empire.

Extremely disappointed in the customer service. Ordered food online where it states the food will be delivered in "20-35 min". An hour later I call and talk to a young woman who states that our order is missing one item. When I question the delivery time she stated that what it says online is a mistake. It should say 45 min to an hour delivery time. 2 hours after my online order I call again. This time a different woman answers the phone and states that I will have my food within 5 minutes. I asked if the food was still going to be fresh and she stated it was. Another 40 minutes later I call again and ask to speak with a manger. The man on the phone stated that he was the general manager. He apologized for the delay and stated that the paper in the fax machine jammed and they got our order late. When I asked about the previous ladies stating other wise he just apologized again and said the food would be delivered in the next 15 minutes. 2 hours and 45 minutes after the order was submitted we finally get the food delivered by the general manager. He again apologized and stated that they were very busy. I asked about being lied to and he said that next time he would give us free food. We opened the food to find it warm, not hot. The fries weren't crispy but soggy like they had been sitting in the container for a while. The cinnamon sticks was barely edible. The only ok thing from our order was the All Meat & Cheese Calzone. I'm sure it would have been great if it was actually hot. Extremely disappointed in the customer service!! Even with being told we will be given free food on our next order I highly doubt we will be ordering anything from them again.
(1)Craig L.
It was just awful. Sorry to ruin the suspense of this review right up front but please just avoid this place. Crust was very plain with minimal toppings. Took 90 minutes for delivery so the pizza was not even hot. I ordered extra cheese and I have no idea how there could be less cheese on a regular pizza. My wife ordered the greek salad which she said was OK but they delivered the salad to our hotel room with no fork. It is pretty apparent that a couple of the other reviews here are friends and family. It was a big mistake, should have ordered Dominos. Did I mention we both got sick the next day?
(1)Jeremy S.
I was excited to enjoy a nice saturday night at home! Pizza Planet quoted me 40 minutes for my large pepperoni pizza with extra cheese. Unfortunately, it took over an hour and the pizza did not have extra cheese, which was exactly what I was craving. I hate to give a new place a bad rating, but service is important. A shame too, the calzone was good. Update: I felt bad for leaving such a poor review so I called them today and spoke to Paul. I told him all about my experience and how it really messed up my relaxing Saturday night. Paul wasn't very sincere, wasn't very apologetic, and made no offer to send out another try. I even said I'd send the pizza back (it's still in my fridge). The only thing he offered me was to tell him next time I order and he'll personally make it. So the second time I order, Paul will make sure it's correct? What does that do for my first order, Paul? VERY disappointed here. I got a bad pizza, a bad apology, and bad customer service.
(1)Marlo P.
literally, the worst pizza I have ever eaten in my life. the crust is a weird texture, the sauce is flavorless and yet somehow tastes vaguely like an aluminum can, and it is beyond clear that their ingredients come from a plastic bag in a box delivered frozen from Sysco or US foods. a poor excuse for pizza, generic and bland. also- the mozzarella sticks are awful as well, the breadding is soggy and the cheese is spongy and they're served with ranch. who serves cheese sticks with ranch? maybe I'm only so appalled because of my distaste for ranch, but when I order mozz sticks, I guess I just expect marinara. also- I ordered cheesecake, and was delivered chocolate cake. I'm not opposed to chocolate cake, I tried it. it was practically frozen in the middle, and is obviously from a sub par grocery store bakery, but I suppose it was the best part of what I was delivered. all the food we ordered was absolute crap and was so late it wasn't hot anymore NOT TO MENTION the delivery guy creeped me all the way out by staring at my chest the entire time, and did not offer me change ($8 worth of change). I would give this place zero stars if I could.
(1)Sara J.
Okay, so I am not really into American pizza. I don't watch American football and I once lived in Italy...yeah, I am kind of a pizza snob.I have not gotten excited about a pizza experience since I got the BookIt coupons when I was eight to be honest. That is until NOW. This place is wonderful! The owners are friendly and eager to make you happy. The crust is crispy, the sauce is flavorful and the toppings are ample. $3.99 for a small with a drink just sweetens the deal. I highly suggest you give this place a try. It is best for your wallet if you choose take out, but I imagine the delivery will suit your needs, regardless.
